About me

I'm a fully qualified, chartered clinical psychologist, and have offered psychological treatment for over 13 years within the NHS, as well as privately. I am also a qualified cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) practitioner.

I offer a compassionate, professional, and non-judgemental space, for people to understand what is going on for them, which is individually tailored to make sure what we do is effective and meaningful for you.

I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in psychology in 2007, and then trained as a clinical psychologist at Lancaster University. Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist in 2012, I have worked in the NHS and privately, working with adults who experience eating disorders, trauma, relationship difficulties, depression, and anxiety. Most recently I worked as clinical lead for an eating disorder service in the NHS, before leaving the NHS in 2025.

In 2019, I completed training and qualified as an accredited cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) practitioner, and have also completed accredited training Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Alongside offering therapy, I have been involved in the training and supervision of other psychological therapists and have published research in psychology and medical journals.

I offer the following treatments for adults who are experiencing eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression/ low mood, stress, or relationship difficulties:

Cognitive analytic therapy (CAT)
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT, including CBT-E and CBT-T for eating disorders)
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
