About me
I believe that each of us has the capacity for change. Change happens all around us and is an inevitable part of life; yet sometimes we can feel as if we are stuck in a rut, that no matter what we do and in spite of our best efforts we end up in the same place. This sense of being trapped leads to illness, depression, numbness, anxiety, anger or exhaustion; and these are but a few of the symptoms that can leave us feeling helpless and hopeless.
My name is Michal Ann and I am an Integrative Counsellor and a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. My aim is to assist you in making the changes that will help you get to where you want to be. I do this by providing a safe and confidential space, a trusting and genuine therapeutic relationship and a collaborative approach that is tailored to you. Maybe together we can find a solution that works? A solution that brings a renewed sense of self and a positive vision of the future.
For many years I have worked as a therapist within the NHS. As an accredited member of the BACP and BABCP I adhere to their guiding principles and ethical framework. I maintain my skills and knowledge through continual professional development and frequent supervision. I also provide supervision to training and qualified therapist.
