About me

I have over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist, having worked in a range of specialties within the NHS, public sector and private practice.

After the birth of my son 13 years ago I developed an interest in women's and pelvic health and began to specialise in this area of work.

Since then I have undertaken a wide range of postgraduate courses to broaden my skills and understanding in women's health, men's health, obstetric care and gynaecological care.

I enjoy helping patients to regain their confidence and quality of life, and in achieving their goals.

My private clinic is run within a private hospital setting in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

I also work within a pelvic, obstetric and gynaecological physiotherapy team within an NHS hospital trust. In this setting my work involves working with a vibrant team and work involves treating patients in clinic, seeing patients on the ward after delivery of their babies and after gynaecological surgery.

I am a qualified clinical Pilates instructor and have training and experience in teaching pre and post natal Pilates.

In my work I see many women in their peri-menopausal stage of life and I have a special interest in advising and guiding women from a physiotherapy and well-being perspective around this time.
