Dr Banchhita Sahu is a vastly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and the Lead for Gynaecological Oncology at the Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust. She has a particular interest in minimal access (keyhole) surgery, offering patients advanced, less invasive treatment options with quicker recovery times.

Covid-Surg- Cancer-(2020-2021)- Principal Investigator . Prospective study to look at the impact of COVID-19 on cancer care.

New markers for ovarian cancer – (2019-2020)- Principal investigator to investigate new biomarkers for diagnosing and treating ovarian cancer.

FOAM study (2016-2019) – Principal investigator FOAM trial designed to determine whether folic acid supplementation improves hot flushes in postmenopausal women, either healthy women or breast/endometrial cancer survivors.

EPIVIN Trail (2015-17) – Principal investigator Trial investigating the use of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (Veregen) in the treatment of vulval intraepithelial neoplasia.
