About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist, qualified since 1999. I have worked predominately within the NHS, with over 8 years working at Consultant level. I now work part-time time in private practice.

I am able to work across the lifespan, with considerable experience of working with children, young people and adults. I work in an integrative and collaborative way, being able to draw on a wide range of therapeutic modalities and techniques to provide an individualised approach to best address the needs of my clients.

Areas of interest

I am able to work with a wide variety of presenting difficulties, including:
low mood or depression;
anxiety (including phobias, panic and OCD);
stress (including work- or school-related);
difficulties associated with loss (such as bereavement, separation, divorce, or job loss);
behavioural difficulties;
relationship difficulties;
appearance issues (including body dysmorphia; decision making/pre-surgical assessments);
self-esteem/confidence/social skills;
health related concerns, such as living with and management of acute/chronic illness, including pain;
trauma.
