About me

Channa Jayasena is Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology and Andrology at Imperial College and Hammersmith Hospital, London. Dr. Jayasena qualified in medicine at Cambridge University, after which he undertook specialist training in Diabetes & Endocrinology in London, and performed research at Imperial College as a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellows and subsequently NIHR Clinical Lecturer. Dr. Jayasena leads a research group at Imperial College, which aims to develop new treatments for men and women with reproductive disorders.

Dr. Jayasena has received several national and international awards, including the prestigious 2014 Young Endocrinologist Prize Lecture, the highest honour to a trainee clinician by The UK’s Society for Endocrinology (SFE). Dr. Jayasena has national expertise in the treatment of reproductive disorders, and is regularly invited to update other doctors on the treatment of reproductive disorders. Dr. Jayasena regularly comments on new developments in the field.

The overarching aim of his practice is to provide the best treatment possible for his patients, and provide state-of-the-art therapies to benefit all patients and couples in the future.
