About me
qualified from Guys and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2003. I trained in cardiology in North West London and have undertaken training in all aspects of advanced cardiac imaging. I have completed three years of sub-specialist training in cardiac imaging as part of the prestigious Imperial and the Royal Brompton fellowships.
My academic interests lie in population based genomics and epidemiology.
I completed my PHD in 2013, during which I investigated genetic and environmental factors determining the increased risk of type-2 diabetes amongst South Asians compared to Europeans.
I have presented at several national and international meetings, and our work was published in multiple high ranking scientific journals.
