About me

I am an consultant ophthalmologist, and specialise in all aspects of glaucoma diagnosis and management including laser treatment, conventional glaucoma surgery as well as the more recent minimally invasive glaucoma/stent surgery. I also specialise in complex cataract surgery.
I have been working as a consultant ophthalmologist in the NHS for the past 12 years. I am currently based at the Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary in the West Midlands, a large specialist eye hospital and a part of the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. I do eye clinics once a week at the Cannock Eye Centre, part of Cannock Chase Hospital.
I also practise at the Nuffield Wolverhampton hospital, a private hospital located in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton that has an established reputation in West Midlands and surrounding regions as the leading provider of private healthcare.
After completing my Specialist Registrar training in ophthalmology in the UK, I did a one year Glaucoma and Cataract Fellowship at the Western Eye Hospital, a well renowned specialist eye hospital in London. I have also done an advanced glaucoma Fellowship for a year at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Boston, USA, one of the top premier specialist eye hospitals in the US.
In addition to my work, I enjoy travelling, playing cricket and tennis.
