About me

Physio in Felsted is a small Private Physiotherapy Clinic which provides a professional, personalised, physiotherapy service. The Clinic owner and sole physiotherapy practitioner, Louise Hustwayte, has worked in the Chelmsford region since 2001 and has excellent Professional links with local Orthopaedic Specialists.
Louise graduated with a Physiotherapy Diploma in 1993 and has continued to develop her Professional skills since; she was awarded a Distinction from MFR Uk, in February 2020, gaining an Advanced Clinical Diploma in Integrated Myofascial Therapy. MFR is a hands-on soft tissue technique which facilitates a relaxation of the body's bracing patterns and often results in pain relief and a reduction in muscle spasm and chronic tension.
Louise works holistically to improve pain and dysfunction, endeavouring to address the underlying cause of the problem, rather than providing a 'quick fix' solution. She is experienced in managing and treating a wide variety of musculo-skeletal complaints, including back and pelvic pain, neck pain, sports injuries (tendinopathy and sprains), arthritis, and chronic pain. As well as being a 'hands-on' therapist Louise recognises the importance of rehabilitation programmes and provides advise and exercises for home management.
Louise is a Member of Physio First, the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP), and the Physiotherapy Pain Association (PPA).
