About me

Dr Freidoon Keshavarzi completed his cardiology training in the UK’s most reputable centres, Oxford & Yorkshire deaneries and in 2015, obtained CCT in General Cardiology with Interventional Cardiology as his sub-specialty.

He continued to accomplish his Fellowship in Advanced Interventional/Structural Cardiology at one of the worlds most renowned centres; Kings College Hospital, London. Dr Keshavarzi gained advanced expertise in cutting edge Cardiac Coronary & Structural Intervention ( Key Hole Procedures) including Coronary Angioplasty and Trans-catheter AorticValve Implantation (TAVI).

Dr Keshavarzi is the Lead for Catheterisation Laboratory, working at the Manchester University Hospitals (Manchester Royal Infirmary and Wythenshawe Hospital). He also holds an honorary position at the University of Manchester as an Honorary Senior Lecturer. As a well-trained cardiologist, he has the expertise and up to-date knowledge in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology. His sub-specialty skills are in management of Ischaemic heart disease and complex Coronary Angioplasty including Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) as well as Key Hole Cardiac Valve Procedures mainly TAVI procedures.
