I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Blackheath Hospital (The) .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Jamil Hakim graduated with a first class Honours degree in Pharmacology from the University of London Kings College. He was awarded the Layton Science Research prize of Kings College and the ICI Pharmaceuticals Prize in Pharmacology. He then trained in medicine at the Westminster Medical School.
Jamil trained in ophthalmology in London. He was Senior Registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital where he also undertook a Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology.
Mr Hakim is a Consultant at the Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
His main sub-specialist interests are sutureless cataract surgery with 2 mm incision, Toric lens implant that corrects for astigmatism, multi focal implants that correct for near and far and multi focal Toric implants that correct for all refractive errors so glasses are not needed, glaucoma, paediatric ophthalmology, squints and lacrimal surgery.
