About me

I have been a Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine for 15 years and have worked as a private consultant in West London for over 8 years. I have extensive experience in the management of inflammatory airways disease, chronic cough, and unexplained breathlessness. In addition, I have a wide experience in all general respiratory conditions, including pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis, lung cancer and TB. Having been part of the leading team for COVID admissions throughout the pandemic, I am skilled in the management of acute respiratory infections and long term rehabilitation strategies for such conditions, including long COVID. I work closely with my allied healthcare professional partners in managing obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). My dual accreditation in both respiratory and general medicine means that I approach all cases with a holistic and flexible approach. I work closely with a team of colleagues, including those in thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, cardiology, radiology and imaging, physiotherapy and cardio-respiratory physiology. I have been involved in Medical Education throughout my professional career. Previous roles have included being an Educational and Clinical Supervisor, Associate Clinical Professor for Internal Medicine for the American University of the Caribbean (AUC), Director for Undergraduate Education for Brunel Medical School at Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley Health and a Programme Lead for an MSc course at Brunel Medical School.
