About me

I have been a Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine for 13 years and have worked as a private consultant in West London for over 7 years. I have extensive experience in the management of inflammatory airways disease and chronic cough, as well as wide experience in all general respiratory conditions, including pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis, lung cancer and TB. Having been part of the leading team for COVID admissions throughout the pandemic, I am skilled in the management of acute respiratory infections and long term rehabilitation strategies for such conditions. My dual accreditation in both respiratory and general medicine means that I approach all cases with a holistic and flexible approach. I work closely with a team of colleagues, including those in thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, cardiology, radiology and imaging, physiotherapy and cardio-respiratory physiology. I have been involved in Medical Education throughout my professional career. Previous roles have included being an Educational and Clinical Supervisor, Associate Clinical Professor for Internal Medicine for the American University of the Caribbean (AUC), and Director for Undergraduate Education for Brunel Medical School at Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley Health. Currently, I am a Reader and a Programme Lead for an MSc programme at Brunel Medical School, BUL London.
