This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr While completed his medical training at the University of London.
He then completed basic surgical training in Oxford becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He undertook specialist Ophthalmology training in Sheffield and Manchester. During this time Mr While developed expertise in cataract surgery, involving himself in the development of strategies that improve outcomes and reduce complications.
Mr While undertook further sub-specialist training in Sheffield in eyelid, eye socket, and tear drainage surgery including the diagnosis and management of tumours of the eye and eyelids.
Mr While is a keen educator and is founder and editor-in-chief of eyecases.org - a training tool for eye care professionals.
He is a life member and committee member of the British Emergency Eye Care Society. This society works to improve the quality of diagnosis and management of emergency eye conditions.
Mr While has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals in subjects across Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic surgery. He is a peer reviewer for many journals helping to maintain the highest standards of evidence in Ophthalmic practice.
