About me

I'm Dr Joel Sheridan, a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years' experience across the NHS and private practice. I provide evidence-based psychological therapy from my Harley Street practice in London and online.

I work particularly with professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs, parents and other high-achieving adults experiencing anxiety, overthinking, burnout, low self-esteem, emotional exhaustion or difficulties switching off.

I also work with panic, health anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, depression, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, insomnia, PTSD, relationship difficulties and major life transitions.

My approach combines psychological depth with practical, evidence-based treatment, drawing on CBT, ACT, EMDR and Compassion-Focused Therapy. I tailor treatment to each individual's needs and goals.

Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate and pragmatic. I offer a confidential, collaborative space where you can feel understood while being thoughtfully challenged to make meaningful, lasting change.

I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from UCL, a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT from King's College London and have completed EMDR Practitioner Training.
