About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist and have been working clinically for twenty years.

After completing a first degree in Psychology and Communication (Bsc Hons), at at the University of Wales, Institute Cardiff, and working in London and the West Midlands as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist, I completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with the Universities of Coventry and Warwick, with associated training posts in Worcestershire and Shropshire, before beginning work as a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist.

I have completed additional training in Systemic Psychotherapy, which focuses on how the relationships around a person construct their personal reality. i am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) which is used to reduce the impact of traumatic experiences. I am particularly interested in life stage transitions and work with adolescents aged 14 upwards and adults.

I have worked in the voluntary sector, NHS and as an Independent Practitioner. In independent practice I work with adults, children and families in relation to a range of clinical needs.
