About me
I am a senior accredited member of BACP and I have 20 years experience of clinical practice in NHS Primary Care, business organisations, secondary education, BUPA as an approved provider, other healthcare providers and in private practice. I work with individuals and supervise fellow practitioners both privately and within Cambridge University Counselling Service. I deliver therapy with acceptance and kindness from 'Mindfulness' skills and teachings. I provide a safe and nurturing setting in which you can talk about your worries and gain insight into the problems you face and discover a new understanding about how you can ease your symptoms. Exploration of your ideas, emotions and significant life experiences, can help you identify feelings and reactive patterns of behaviour. Developing self awareness and self confidence in therapy can enable you to make changes in your life that suit you and help you find ways to cope. Therapeutic support in developing ways forward, towards resolution of difficulties, can provide you with a sense of direction and purpose in life. The therapeutic relationship that I offer, can hold all possible anxieties and emotions that may arise for you, as you begin to engage with others assertively; as yourself.
