About me
Mrs Hussain has been practising as a Consultant Gynaecologist for the last 26 years. She worked in the NHS for just over 17 years as consultant at Whipps Cross University Hospital, but has now moved completely into private practice. She does see some NHS patients through Choose & Book which comes under Urogynaecology; she also also deals with heavy periods, painful periods, irregular periods and no periods and menopause.
She has a special interest in Urogynaecology performing Bulking procedures for bladder neck for incontinence. She also performs uterine and vaginal prolapse operations (repairs) vaginally and laparoscopically. She also has a keen interest in menstrual (menorrhagia or heavy periods) post menopausal disorders. She inserts IUCD and Mirena's and performs general gynaecology check ups. She has a special interest in key hole surgery. for ovarian cysts, endometriosis and fibroids. She performs endometrial ablations (NovaSure), and transcervical resection of fibroids and endometrium.

Urogynaecology, specialising on operations on the pelvic floor, uterine and vaginal prolapse, vault prolapse both laparoscopic and vaginal approach, operations for Incontinence.
Menstrual and Menopausal disorders(heavy periods or menorrhagia, amenorrhoea (no periods) Irregular periods, scanty periods;
Fibroids and endometriosis;
Laparoscopic (key hole) total hysterectomy and subtotal hysterectomy, oophorectomy
Endometrial Ablation and trans cervical resection of endometrium, Coil insertions and removal, Mirena IUS insertions.
Labial operations if appropriate.
