About me

UK trained clinical psychologist with 19 years post-qualification experience. Working across the lifespan (13+) with a very ride range mental health problems from common through to highly complex and challenging presentations

Clinical psychology: CBT, IPT, recurrent/chronic depression, dysthymia, bereavement, bipolar 2 disorder, anxiety disorders, trauma and adjustment disorder. Adult and teen ADHD. Emphasis on attachment style, life events and interpersonal difficulties (often in the context of complex personality related issues).
Neuropsychology: Assessment of the dementias, head injuries, stroke and other neurological conditions. Neuropsychotherapy to facilitate adjustment/transition. Neuropsychological interventions to address areas of specific deficit, to support carers and multidisciplinary teams. Assessment and psychosocial management of challenging behaviours.
Medico-legal: Trauma and adjustment disorders, head injuries (including mild head injury), capacity assessments. Assessment of attachment style, capacity to form and maintain intimate and other close relationships, and capacity to be an adequate/ effective caregiver to minors. Assessment of symptoms of emotional/psychological neglect and abuse of minors.
