About me
Mr. Anjum graduated in 1986 and completed his Surgical training and specialised in 1994. He then served as Consultant General & gastroenterology Surgeon in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for 8 years. He completed his Endoscopy & Laparoscopy training in the UK and after passing fellowship examination in General Surgery, was awarded CESR and his name was entered to the Specialist Register of General Medical Council (GMC)
Mr Anjum works as Consultant General & Gastroenterology surgeon at NHS and BMI Highfield Hospital Rochdale. Most of his work includes Laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery, surgery for benign Ano-Rectal conditions and Gastrointestinal endoscopy. Mr. Anjum is JAG accredited trainer for Endoscopic procedures at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. He is an educator to medical undergraduates and post graduate doctors.
