About me

I am a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 20 years of NHS experience in treating a range of communication impairments in children up to the age of 6 years old. These include social communication difficulties, autism, complex needs associated with syndromes and genetic/chromosomal variations, speech, phonology, language, attention, and play difficulties. My area of specialism is in autistic spectrum disorder, social communication and language disorder. My philosophy is to train parents/carers and education staff in the strategies that facilitate language acquisition and development so that they can promote communication development throughout the day for optimum results. I work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team involved with the child.
I am registered with the HCPC, RCSLT and ASPLTIP and fully compliant with the Data Protection Act. I have public liability insurance up to 5 million pounds through the RCSLT.
I treat clients in my therapy room in Sydenham and am able to make nursery, school and home visits as required. I can provide formal training packages for educational settings.
