About me
Dr Benjamin Wakerley is a Consultant Neurologist seeing ALL neurology issues including tremor, Parkinson's disease, trigeminal neuralgia and other facial pain, seizures, multiple sclerosis, migraine and headache. He offers extensive investigation for these.
He has a SPECIAL INTEREST in migraine and all types of headache, and offers extensive diagnostic services and treatment options for all types of headache. He is particularly interested in the treatment of patients with daily headache, including chronic migraine, and is able to advise on the latest treatment options. He also deals with cluster headache and vestibular headache.
Dr Wakerley is very experienced in the administration of botulinum toxin injections (Botox) and greater occipital nerve blocks, and able to advise on electronic devices used to treat headache (gammaCore, Cefaly and eNeura). He can also prescribe the new anti-CGRP monoclonal antibody (Ajovy) and Rimegepant and Atogepant.
