About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with 25 years post-qualification experience working in the NHS with a wide range of mental health difficulties and life challenges. I initially trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, but over the past 25 years have also trained in a number of other effective therapeutic approaches. I have a specialist interest in working with complex trauma and have extensive experience working in this area within the NHS and privately.

I would describe my approach as integrative in that my experience has taught me that it is best to individually tailor therapy to the unique circumstances and preferences of the client. I work in a collaborative way, seeking regular feedback and drawing on the strengths of the person as well as listening carefully to what the person wants to address or change in therapy.
