About me

I am General Adult Psychiatrist with specialist training in Rehabilitation of chronic and enduring mental health conditions. I did my core and higher specialist training in psychiatry from South London and Maudsley , London Deanery , and Kent Surrey and Sussex Deanery . My Masters in Psychiatric Research from King's College London helps me to understand the wider aspects of cultural and social influences in mental health . The experience of working as family physician ,abroad, helps me to work with the interface between physical - mental health .
I am working as full time substantive consultant in NHS and have a wide experience in diagnosing and treating patients with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma ,Obsessive Compulsive disorders , Psychosis, Bipolar and other affective disorders, Schizophrenia , Schizoaffective and Personality Disorders.
I enjoy teaching and training and am Honorary lecturer at King's medical school and supervise psychiatry trainee. I am member of Simulation Faculty and have worked as Locality Tutor for the trainees.

Areas of interest

Diagnosis and treatment of Depression, Anxiety , Bipolar Affective Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorders, Trauma , Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and Personality Disorders. Also diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD. The assessment process for adult ADHD is long and need double appointment.
