About me

I trained in cardiology in India to consultant level. I moved to the UK in 2003 and trained further in Bournemouth, Leicester and in and around London. I have been a consultant in NHS since 2011

I look after all kinds of general cardiology patients . My special interest is heart rhythm disorders and complex device (resynchronisation pacemakers and defibrillators) implantation

I have an MSc in clinical research and am interested in clinical research and teaching. I teach medical trainees and students

I have managed departments of cardiology and specialist medicine as speciality lead and clinical director in NHS

I am a fellow of Royal College of Physician , London and member of British Medical Association ( BMA), British Cardiac Society (BCS), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) of USA
