About me
I am a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in Plymouth with a special interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, especially in the management of pelvic pain and endometriosis. A laparoscopic approach to surgery has many benefits, including less post operative pain, a faster recovery and return to normal life, and smaller incisions.
Alongside laparoscopic surgery, I have an interest in hysteroscopy (a technique using a camera to visualise the inside of a womb) and hysteroscopy surgery to remove endometrial polyps and fibroids, which may contribute to menstrual problems and abnormal bleeding. Additionally I am an accredited colposcopist, with the skills and experience to advise and manage an abnormal smear test.
In all cases, I offer a personalised approach – all advice and treatment can be tailored to a woman’s individual needs, wishes and circumstances.
