About me
Jayne is an Accredited member of the BACP and have many years experience of counselling working in different charity organisations and private practice. I have worked in Child line, Rasa, Cais (drugs and alcohol) and Parabl (Stepped care as used in the NHS) and has a wealth of experience in issues such as abuse, depression, anxiety, stress, domestic violence, addictive behaviours and suicidal thoughts. She also has experience in working with Young People. Jayne is a CBT practitioner, however she does work in a person centred manner.
We all feel worried or unhappy at times in our lives and it often helps to talk. Friends and family can help, but sometimes it is better to talk to someone who is not close to the situation, who will not judge us, and who is trained to help us find ways of coping.
Counselling can help us see things clearly, it can also be thought provoking, life changing and empowering. It can help you explore what is troubling you and allowing you to gain confidence to make positive changes. Counsellors are trained to listen, in a non-judgmental confidential environment.
I looking forward to working with you
