About me

I qualified from The University of Cambridge Medical School in. I subsequently completed my basic surgical training at St. George’s Hospital in London. I was a clinical research registrar at the world renowned Wrightington Hospital in the North West region where I obtained a Master of Science higher degree before completing my higher surgical registrar training in Yorkshire. I completed a fellowship in lower limb joint replacement in York before completing my surgical training by carrying out a further comprehensive lower limb fellowship at the prestigious Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford – a specialist orthopaedic only hospital of global repute – obtaining experience in complex hip and knee revision surgery, bone infection as well as tuition in the technique of the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement from world renowned experts in the field.

I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The York Hospital in September 2016.

I am a tutor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Hull-York Medical School and am lead clinician for fractured neck of femur surgery at The York Hospital.
