About me
I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Imperial College Healthcare Trust.
I have a strong interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which was also the topic of my PhD at Imperial College, as well as colonoscopy and advanced polypectomy. I find the development of novel methods for assessing and risk-stratifying polyps in the GI tract and endoscopic techniques for their removal particularly fascinating.
Moreover, I am also particularly interested in the investigation and management of a broad spectrum of GI conditions such as chronic diarrhoea, dyspepsia and reflux, and chronic unexplained abdominal pain.
I have recently joined a Europe-wide interest group in Microscopic Colitis, a common but underdiagnosed cause for chronic diarrhoea in adults.
In my spare time I enjoy long-distance running, and cycling with my two young children.
