About me

Counsel UK - Helping The UK Feel Better....

Firstly, my clients are at the heart of the work and I use a relational based talking approach. Each client is treated with respect, understanding, acceptance and care.

As an Accredited and Registered Member of BACP, my work is representative of the highest quality standards, ethics and professionalism as set out by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, also abbreviated to BACP, (www.bacp.co.uk).

I have been specialising in Working with Young People for 22 years, from clients aged 11 years upwards. I have over 13 years of experience of being a Secondary School Counsellor in several schools and counselling research projects. I enjoyed working at The Space, a Young Persons ' Centre for twelve years as a Specialist Young Persons' Counsellor. In addition, I hold extensive experience working with Adult clients on a wide range of difficulties.

The first step which is the initial contact, sometimes is not easy, however I am deeply respectful of peoples difficulties whatever they may be.

I cover many types of issues such as:

By working through things together, this eases the distress within a Safe Space to Talk environment, as well as being listened to, to be heard and understood.

As we know people are affected in unique ways and this is due to everyone being different. As everyone is different, I always Tailor Make the work to each persons requirements. I am concerned with how things affect you and how you would like things to be different for your future.
