About me
Rebecca is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Her areas of interest are returning to fitness after illness and injury, relative energy deficiency in sport, female athlete health, exercise after cancer and in long terms conditions.
Rebecca works in person and remotely. You can see her in clinic at Carter & George Cumbria, OrthTeam Manchester and Marylebone Health Group London
Rebecca graduated from Newcastle University, and went on to train in both Hospital medicine and Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Rebecca's clinical and research work in the NHS is based on the role of exercise in cancer rehabilitation. Within elite sport she works with UK Sports Institute, Lancashire Cricket and the Lawn Tennis Association.
Rebecca is a keen runner who understands the challenges of injury in sport and has competed internationally in mountain and road running in events,
