About me
Rebecca is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Her areas of interest are returning to fitness after illness and injury, relative energy deficiency in sport, female athlete health, bone tress, exercise after cancer and in long terms conditions, and rehabilitation
Rebecca works in person and remotely.
Rebecca graduated from Newcastle University, and went on to train in both Hospital medicine and Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Rebecca's clinical and research work in the NHS is based on the role of exercise in cancer rehabilitation. Within elite sport she works with UK Sports Institute, Lancashire Cricket and the Lawn Tennis Association.
Rebecca is a keen athlete herself who understands the challenges of injury in sport and has competed internationally in mountain and road running in events,
