About me
Dr Brent Elliott trained at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospitals' medical school, and has been lead consultant liaison psychiatrist and associate clinical director to their department of psychological medicine since 2014.
His particular area of interest is neuropsychiatry, and much of his day-to-day role involves providing mental health care to patients admitted under the neuroscience and neurotrauma services. He is an honorary consultant neuropsychiatrist to the traumatic brain injury MDT at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and prior to that at the Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy (2011-2017). He previously sat on the Faculty of Neuropsychiatry Executive at the Royal College of Psychiatrists (2018-2022. He is currently studying for an MSc in Sleep Medicine and has a particular interest in sleep disorders following TBI.
His private work is based at the Cleveland Clinic London where he is responsible for providing neuropsychiatric care to adults under the care of the neurosciences institute.
