About me

Mr Ramakrishnan is a consultant otorhinolaryngologist based at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. In addition to his clinical role, he currently holds the role of Clinical Director for Quality Integration and Transformation (Surgery Division), following his previous role as ENT Head of Service. He is also Honorary Secretary of the British Rhinological Society.

His practice is dedicated to rhinology (nose and sinus specialist) and skull base surgery. He is a member of the Skull Base as well as Head Neck multidisciplinary meeting which provides advice on complex cancer and non-cancer cases regionally within Nottinghamshire.

He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2001. After completing his pre-registration house jobs at Cambridge and Norwich, he pursued his general surgical training at Newcastle upon Tyne. He then trained in London at the reknown Royal National Throat, Nose and Throat Hospital, Guys Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital. He completed his ear, nose and throat (ENT) Specialist training in the Northern deanery.

In order to hone his rhinology expertise, he undertook two very prestigious fellowships; the first was the Training Interface Cosmetic fellowship (Leicester) following by the the premier Advanced Rhinology Skull Base fellowship (Birmingham).

???His area of expertise includes sinus surgery, rhinoplasties, snoring surgery, blocked noses, runny noses (medicines and surgical options like posterior nasal neurectomy) and complex skull base surgery.
