About me
Imran Bhatti graduated from the University of Bristol in 2004 and completed a Doctorate in Medicine (DM) focused on pancreatic cancer at the University of Nottingham in 2010. His surgical training was undertaken in Bristol, Derby, and Leicester, followed by the prestigious McMaster Fellowship in Hepato?Pancreatico?Biliary (HPB) surgery and liver transplantation at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
He has a strong interest in clinical research and has authored multiple publications in peer?reviewed journals, as well as contributing a book chapter on Hepato?Pancreatico?Biliary surgery.
His main clinical interests include robotic surgery, acute and chronic pancreatitis, gallstone disease, the management of simple to complex hernias, and improving patient care pathways. He successfully established the Hot Gallbladder Service in Derby, a dedicated pathway that ensures patients with symptomatic gallstones receive timely surgical intervention, reducing delays and preventing further complications.
