About me
Dr George is a Consultant Respiratory Physician in the Interstitial Lung Disease Unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
He completed his specialist training in General Internal Medicine and Respiratory Medicine in London working at some of the most prestigious academic centres. He pursued a higher degree and completed a PhD at Imperial College exploring the impact of the immune system on lung inflammation.
He is experienced at managing all respiratory conditions. His speciality interest is interstitial lung diseases including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), sarcoidosis, smoking related lung diseases, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, post-COVID respiratory complications and lung disease secondary to connective tissue diseases.
He is approved to prescribe specialist treatments such as Pirfenidone (Esbriet) and Nintedanib (Ofev)
