About me

I am a HCPC registered senior clinical psychologist specialising in brief evidence-based psychological therapy.

I work with clients whose ages range from 12+ to adult and older adults. I work with individual adults, couples and families who present with a variety of behavioural, psychological and physical difficulties that prevent them from being productive or having a meaningful life.

I am trained to deliver a range of psychological therapies and to tailor them to best suit the person or family circumstances. I specialise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This incorporates skills such as mindfulness, self-awareness, values identification and behaviour change methods. It is a holistic approach and not limited to a specific symptom or diagnosis.

I like to work in partnership to explore and identify the short-term and longer-term goals that you want for yourself. This approach will help you to understand yourself better and introduce you to skills that allow you to continue developing once your immediate difficulties have been managed.
