About me
I am a respiratory consultant with an interest in lung cancer, pleural and large airway disease. I also look after patients with COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, intersititial lung disease, cough and assessment of breathlessness.
In my leisure time, I enjoy watching football and strongly support Liverpool. I am an LFC member along with my son and we both try to get to matches at Anfield when we get match tickets.
I have family members in 4 different countries (Jordan, America, Bahrain and UAE) which keeps life interesting and having a lot to look forward to.
My overseas experience has helped me work in the NHS in many ways. Working in Jordan, a country known for its limited resources, meant I had to provide best and safest possible patient care with the available logistics.
I am self-critical of my practice against patient outcomes. This has helped me develop and refine both my skills and knowledge. I have on many occasions called patients to check on their progress after an introduction of a new treatment or to inform them of test results.
