About me

I am a Psychotherapist, Couple Counsellor and Mediator working with young people, adults and couples. My approach incorporates psychoanalytic and integrative perspectives, including CBT where appropriate. This means I draw from a variety of theoretical models, to meet your individual needs. I work with a diverse range of ethnicities, cultures and difference in a non-judgemental way that sets the foundation for an effective therapeutic relationship. I have a special interest in neuroscience and the relationship between the mind and the body. My MA research was in neuroscience and my Phd research was in the field of Medically Unexplained Symptoms and the impact of the mind on the body. This includes chronic pain, for example IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), back ache, head aches and more.
