About me
My research interests and clinical expertise are in third-wave cognitive-behavioural therapies using mindfulness, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); and creative and expressive therapies using literature or writing such as poetry therapy, therapeutic creative writing or bibliotherapy. I am a registered ACT therapist with the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science and a UK and US registered mindfulness and mindful eating teacher. I offer existential-phenomenological psychotherapy, which can include mindfulness or focusing, to individual adult clients adjusting to illness or loss or seeking personal development or growth, and ACT to adults with mental health conditions.
I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Registered Clinical Supervisor, and a Senior Psychologist Specialising in Psychotherapy with the BPS. I am a registered practitioner psychologist with the HCPC and a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the BPS.
