About me

Skylark Therapy provides highly specialised and quality psychological therapy to people struggling with a variety of problems, including but not exclusively: eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement, and post-natal or fertility issues. We are based in west London. We provide evidence-based psychological treatments tailored to the individual or group's needs. Skylark Therapy believes in the effectiveness of early intervention and prevention. Alongside private therapy services, we also provide workshops and training to teams. Skylark Therapy was founded by Miranda Boal. Miranda qualified as a psychologist in 2003 and has over 20 years' experience working for the NHS, primarily in Eating Disorder Services across the country. Most recently she has been responsible for developing and leading a pilot project providing an innovative new early intervention service for people with mild to moderate eating disorders in east London. Miranda has also worked for the Nightingale Hospital treating people with a wide variety of mental health difficulties and life stressors.
