About me

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Member and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I provide psychological assessment and therapy to adults from my consulting room in a GP Practice in Paignton, South Devon.

I have worked for many years in NHS services including general mental health and hospital-based specialities including oncology, intensive care, and trauma rehabilitation. My special interests are post-traumatic stress disorder and occupational health. I am committed to a warm and collaborative approach to help people overcome the impact of difficult life events and thrive both within and outside of work. I have specialist training and extensive experience in CBT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based techniques.

I have a background in the emergency services as a Firefighter prior to re-training as a psychologist, and I am a volunteer RNLI lifeboat crew member. My occupational health work involves assessment and therapy interventions with emergency services and military employees and veterans, along with people from varied areas of business across the public and private sectors.
