About me
Natasha's commitment and passion for working in the field of counselling and psychotherapy is first and foremost what you can feel confident in. She strongly believes people can achieve the changes they want to make in their lives through the process of talking to another in a safe non-judgemental environment. She has extensive experience of working with both adults and children and has been based within Children and Adolescent mental health and adult mental health settings working in practice for over 8 years.
Natasha understands that at some point in many of our lives we come to a time when we may feel the need to seek help because we have lost a sense of who we are or what we want from life. Her aim is to help you discover the best way forward for you as an individual.
Natasha is trained to listen and communicate in a way that helps you get to the very root of your emotional difficulties. Through this process many clients find that this helps alleviate their emotional distress. As a therapist she can provide a relationship that differs from other sources of support such as friends or family. Having somebody who is totally separate from your everyday life can provide support that is non-judgemental, confidential and can be led by your agenda. Her genuinely warm and friendly personality make the helping process a natural profession for her to work in, this in turn helps clients feel at ease. Natasha's aim is to help you get to a point where you feel happier and more in control of your life, working towards your goals in collaboration with her.
She has trained as an integrative counsellor and is fully qualified in MSc Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (incorporating PG Cert/PG Dip) (BACP Accredited). She strongly believes that integrative counselling has a huge advantage to the way that she practices as it means she can tailor her therapeutic approach to suit the needs of her clients. Natasha believes that as individuals we need to have a therapeutic approach that will best serve our needs and integrative counselling can provide this.
