About me
Jonathan Barker is a Professor of Medical Dermatology at St John's Institute of Dermatology at Guys and St Thomas's Hospitals and Kings College London. He trained in London and USA and has been a consultant in dermatology since 1991. At Guy's Hospital he runs a busy tertiary referral service for patients with psoriasis and has extensive experience in the use of new treatments including biologics. He has been involved in clinical guideline development for psoriasis in the UK and Europe, a subject on which he has published widely. He sits on the boards of several professional organisations nationally and internationally including International Psoriasis Council.
Areas of interest
His clinical interests are general dermatology, adult medical dermatology including psoriasis and skin cancer diagnosis.
