About me

I have been working as Consultant in NHS from January 2011. During this period I have consolidated myself as consultant with exposure of varied hospital settings and different roles. I have been in my present post of Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology at Good Hope Hospital since November 2015. My areas of interest are Type1 & 2 diabetes, Insulin Pump therapy, Diabetic Foot, Complex diabetes, Lipid disorders, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Hypogonadism, Adrenal, Osteoporosis and Pituitary disorders. I endeavour to provide best possible care to all my patients based on current best evidence. My communication strategy is based on total honesty. I am also actively involved in both post and undergraduate medical education.

My areas of interest are Type1 & 2 diabetes, Insulin Pump therapy, Diabetic Foot, Complex diabetes, Lipid disorders, Thyroid Parathyroid, Hypogonadism, Adrenal and Pituitary disorders. I have sound clinical knowledge in Medicine and have CCT in Diabetes & Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.

Since starting in my present post I have led on diabetes technology including Freestyle Libre/Dexcom, Insulin Pump service and Consultant led Diabetic Foot Service at Good Hope Hospital. I am also the Site Lead for my unit at Good Hope Hospital. In my previous post I was Clinical Lead in acute Medicine at Manor Hospital.
