Professional Background:
Dr. Vinod Audimoolam earned his MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh in 2003 and has been on the Specialist Register since 2013 following extensive specialist training in London. His research at the Institute of Liver Studies, King's College Hospital, London�one of the UK's leading liver transplant centres- focused on acute liver failure and viral hepatitis, culminating in a Master's degree in Hepatology.
He further honed his expertise through a two-year fellowship in endoscopy, specializing in hepato-pancreaticobiliary medicine. Since 2015, he has served as a substantive Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, leading the development of a dedicated hepato-pancreaticobiliary service covering both cancer and non-cancer conditions.
Procedural Skills:
� Diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy
� Botox injections, dilatation/stenting of the oesophagus and colon
� Polyp removal and management of acute gastrointestinal bleeding
� Advanced hepato-pancreaticobiliary endoscopy including ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) for conditions such as bile duct stones, cysts, and strictures

His procedural repertoire includes gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), and FibroScan.
