About me
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, trained at the Tavistock Clinic, London. I have over 25 years of experience working with adults and older adolescents in the NHS and in private practice. I do not offer a service to children.
I am qualified to provide a safe, reliable and confidential psychotherapy practice.
In addition to my private practice I have considerable experience in the National Health Service, having worked for many years at the Royal Free and St. Ann's hospitals in London. I also worked for seven years as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist with students and staff at King's College London gaining invaluable experience with teenagers and young adults.
I have worked with people with a wide range of emotional, relationship and personal difficulties. Some of the reasons people come to see me include: depression, stress or anxiety, problems in relationships, feeling stuck, struggling to adjust to change, and experiences of loss. This might include a wish to speak to someone impartial and feel less bound up with people closer to home.
