About me
I qualified from Karnataka University, India in 1996. After completing basic surgical training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India I came to UK in 2003 for higher surgical training. I did research in the field of bowel cancer prevention for which I was awarded the degree of Doctorate of Medicine (MD) by the Newcastle University in 2007. After completing specialty surgical training, I have been working as Consultant General Surgeon specialising in Upper Gastro-Intestinal and Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery in the NHS since Nov 2014. I am currently employed as Consultant surgeon with the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and do my private practice at the Spire hospital -Elland and One-Health Group Sheffield.
