He performs hip and knee replacements along with knee arthroscopy for meniscal conditions. A variety of injection therapy treatment are also available including cortisone, vifcosuuplementaiton, platelets rich plasma.
Mr Kumar is the director of Manchester Lumps Clinic - a lumps and bumps service offering a One Stop Lump clinic with same day investigations to investigate any lumps on the limbs or trunk. He also runs a One Stop Knee Clinic.
His NHS practice is at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and has a specialist interest in musculoskeletal oncology.
He graduated from the Royal Free and University College London medical school in 2003 and undertook his early surgical training in the North West. His specialist post-graduate training in Trauma & Orthopaedics was in the East Midlands (South) T&O rotation followed by several fellowships.
