About me

I have been in private practice since 2011 working with adults of any gender, ethnic and cultural background.

As a Counselling Psychologist I have a diversity of skills that can adapt to the clients individual, and at times, complex needs. Each contract is negotiated individually within their BUPA agreement, offering both brief and open-ended therapy. I have trained in Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural therapy and will formulate and apply interventions and tools from each of these approaches as deemed appropriate, integrated within each session. However my natural approach is Psychodynamic, looking at past history to make sense of current behaviours. I also like to focus on the relationship between myself and the client in order to make sense of any relational difficulties they may be experiencing.
I encourage and teach the practices of Mindfulness as this helps clients to start developing a healthy awareness of themselves.
Through the use of Internal Family Systems I can help access and heal somatic body trauma, and encourage physical and creative expression that is felt beyond words.
