Dr Afzal has been a consultant in gastroenterology since Jan 2010 when he completed his specialist training in London. He has extensive experience in the field of gastroenterology and endoscopy. In addition to the UK, he has previously worked in Saudi Arabia and Dubai as gastroenterology consultant. He is currently working as consultant at Northern Care Alliance NHS Trust.
