About me

I am a qualified orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with over 20 years of experience. My work takes place in Germany, Austria and the UK offering minimal invasive foot and hand surgery. On the days I am not in my practise, I work as a sworn in witness to the courts in Germany and Austria, with regards to orthopedic problems. I also train private insurance consultants in Bavaria in order for them to understand the new techniques offered by surgeons. Over the past 10 years I have specialist in forefoot surgery and modified the technique I use even further. This ensures a quicker recovery, less strain on the body and better results. All my surgery is done as day care, so minimal invasive to the body and fitting in with the busy schedule of patients.

Areas of interest

Over the past years, I have modified the Hallux Valgus operation to an extent, ensuring a relatively uncomplicated recovery and an excellent result after the operation. I have more than 10 years of experience using this technique, which has proven over and over again a great success.
In addition to the so-called bunion surgery, I offer an alternative to the Hallux Rigidus common fusion, by using a small implant to enable patients to maintain their mobility. This procedure has proven a great success and over the past 12 years, we have had very little problems with the Cartiva compared to the implications of a fusion.
